Method Full immersion teaching method (only English is spoken) means you will be speaking English from the very first class. By using a wide range of materials and teaching approaches, different learning styles are catered for. Regular homework, revision and mini-tests mean you will build a new, wide language and grammar base to use in both speaking and writing. Students are encouraged to read magazines, newspapers and books outside of class and then bring materials to lessons for discussion/trouble-shooting.
Private Lessons Private lessons are available at various times of the week, both daytime and evening, and offer clients tailor-made learning and guidance towards their specific aims. Based on the outcome of the initial assessment and level test, a programme will be designed to suit your particular needs, improve your areas of weakness and develop your strengths. Continual feedback means your programme can be constantly updated and revised to accommodate your developing needs e.g. a job interview / a specific grammar point that is causing you trouble etc. If you are interested in taking private lessons, please contact us with your group size and preferred study times and we will try to arrange a suitable weekly time for the lesson.

* Although private groups are generally considered ‘closed’ (students make their own groups of friends/colleagues), if you wish to join a private group, we will try our best to find other clients with similar needs and level so that you can study together.
** In the case of student cancellations, the remaining clients will still only pay the agreed price per person and are not expected to cover the cost of the absent student.
*** Payment should be made at the beginning of each lesson. If you need to cancel or postpone a lesson, we kindly ask for 24 hours notice. Cancellations/time changes within 24 hours will incur a 20 euro charge.
Multi-National General English Classes
The only way to learn English is to practise using it. In our multi-national classes, students learn in a supportive environment with others of a similar level. This lets students develop, share and practise their English skills without fear of ‘getting it wrong’.
Unlike other language schools, our courses run continuously and are always open to new students. This gives clients increased flexibility over when they study.
Lessons are held at Absolutely British in Amstelveen, just two minutes from the Uilenstede. Easily accessible by metro 51 and tram 5. Free parking.
We do not charge fees for enrolment, level testing or consultation. There are no large up-front course fees. For a map of the classroom location click here:

Prices for Multi-national classes: Introductory lesson is FREE then only 50 euros per month (4 x 1.5hr classes)
*Payment should be made in full at the beginning of each month. **Cancellations / non-attendance for group classes is at the client’s cost as no refunds can be given.
